Job Description – Full Stack Developer (Node.js / JavaScript / React.js / PHP)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Full Stack Developer with 3–5 years of experience who possesses excellent expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, and React.js. The candidate should have working knowledge of PHP, as the role primarily focuses on modern JavaScript-based application development with occasional PHP maintenance and enhancements.

The ideal candidate should have end-to-end product development experience, including architecture, backend development, frontend development, testing, deployment, and production support of scalable SaaS applications.

This is a coding-intensive role requiring someone who actively contributes to development and can take ownership of production-ready systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Develop responsive frontend applications using React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work on existing PHP modules and develop new PHP features whenever required.
• Design, optimize, and manage SQL databases.
• Implement and optimize search functionality using Elasticsearch.
• Integrate Redis caching for improved application performance.
• Handle the complete software development lifecycle from requirement analysis to production deployment.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes.

Required Skills (Must Have)

Core Skills (Highest Priority)

• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong hands-on experience in Node.js.
• Strong hands-on experience in React.js.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, event loop, and REST APIs.
• Strong experience building scalable backend applications.

Backend & Database

• Strong SQL knowledge (complex queries, joins, indexing, optimization).
• Experience with Redis.
• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB or similar).
• Strong API development experience.

PHP (Secondary Requirement)

• Working knowledge of PHP is required.
• Experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar PHP frameworks will be an added advantage.
• The role is primarily focused on JavaScript/Node.js development; PHP knowledge is required mainly for maintaining and enhancing existing modules.

Development Practices

• Git version control.
• Production deployment experience.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

AI-First Engineering

Demonstrates an AI-first engineering mindset by effectively using Claude Code and other modern AI development tools to improve development speed, code quality, and overall productivity while maintaining full ownership of the final implementation.

Candidate Profile

Important Note

This position primarily requires strong expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, and React.js.
