​We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist with 4-7 years of experience who is passionate about solving complex problems using data and AI. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, NLP, Generative AI, and a strong grasp of working with databases and search engines like MongoDB, Solr, and Redis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and implement data-driven solutions that enhance our HR technology products.

​Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & Modeling

   • Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights.

   • Develop predictive models, algorithms, and machine learning solutions to solve business problems.

2. Natural Language Processing (NLP)

   • Work on text processing, sentiment analysis, entity recognition, and text classification.

   • Build and fine-tune language models using tools like Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI APIs, or similar frameworks.

3. Generative AI & LLMs

   • Develop and deploy solutions using large language models (LLMs) for tasks such as text generation, summarization, and conversational AI.

   • Experiment with state-of-the-art generative AI technologies to enhance product capabilities.

4. Database & Search Optimization

   • Manage and optimize NoSQL databases such as MongoDB for high performance.

   • Work with Solr and Redis to develop and maintain search functionality and caching mechanisms.

5. API Development & Integration

   • Design and develop RESTful APIs to integrate machine learning solutions into existing systems.

   • Collaborate with backend engineers for seamless system integration.

6. Research & Innovation

   • Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, NLP, and machine learning.

   • Propose innovative solutions and conduct research to improve the performance of existing systems.

Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in data science and machine learning.

• Proficiency in Python and its libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Experience with NLP tools and frameworks like NLTK, SpaCy, or Hugging Face.

• Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) and Generative AI tools.

• Strong knowledge of MongoDB, Solr, and Redis.

• Proficient in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis.

Preferred:

• Experience in the HR tech industry.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.

• Contributions to open-source NLP/AI projects are a plus.
